The album of the month is...
The Car by Arctic Monkeys ⋆. ୨୧˚⋆
First listen ୨♡୧
The Car released on October of 2022, when I first listened to it I instantly fell in love with the melodramatic tunes, a beautiful mix of jazz and orquestral rock. The album feels like a warm autumn, honoring the release date. The first song I felt enamoured with was "There´d better be a mirrorball", it sounds like driving through an empty city at midnight in a beautiful dress you have absolutely nowhere to wear, the track leans into a smooth, 1970s art-house and retro loungue aesthetic.
That with Alex Turner adopting a crooning vocal style backed by sophisticated mellow grooves. The whole album has a cinematographic sensation, elegant and quite melancholic, each song provide a different feeling that vary from ´taking a cup of coffee and apple pie in a café with red walls´ to ´tragic love-story in a Hollywood penthouse´.

The girl who listens to The Car ୨♡୧
Absolutely. This is one of my favourite albums of all time.
But don´t put The Car on while you´re trying to have a productive afternoon. Put it at night. Dim the lights. Make something warm to drink. Wear something pretty for no reason.
Let yourself be dramatic for an hour and I promise the album will understand.
Yours truly,
